Terms & Conditions
LAST UPDATED: JANUARY 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Slate & Stone website and outline the general terms under which we provide our services. By using this website or engaging us for a project, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
01Use of This Website
The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes about Slate & Stone and the services we offer. You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse, copy, or reproduce its content without permission. We may update, change, or remove content at any time without notice.
02Estimates & Quotes
Any estimates or quotes we provide are based on the information available at the time and on a visual assessment of the project. Final pricing may change if site conditions, materials, or the scope of work differ from what was originally discussed. An estimate does not constitute a binding contract until it is confirmed in writing by both parties.
03Scope of Services
Slate & Stone provides tile and stone installation and related finish work. The specific scope of any project will be defined in a written estimate or agreement. Work outside that defined scope may require a separate agreement and additional cost.
04Materials & Workmanship
We take pride in the quality of our workmanship. Natural stone, tile, and grout are subject to natural variation in color, veining, and texture, and may change in appearance over time with use and exposure. Any warranty on materials is provided by the manufacturer. We stand behind our installation work as described in your project agreement.
05Payment Terms
Payment terms, including any deposits and the schedule for progress or final payments, will be set out in your project agreement. Work may be paused or rescheduled if agreed payments are not made on time.
06Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slate & Stone is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to a project will not exceed the amount paid for that project.
07Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute relating to this website or our services will be handled in the appropriate courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
